Elegance, finesse of the aromas, power, a wine for ageing. A deep crimson colour with bright tints. As soon as the bottle is opened the bouquet evokes blackcurrant and dark fruits, followed by notes of tobacco and liquorice. The attack is ample and full-bodied, showing good mature substance. Its delicate and elegant tannic structure leads into a strong, long-lasting finish.

Best served with meat dishes in sauce, or a rustic cheeseboard.

Dark purple core amd hue. Fine purity and intensity, dark cabernet-flavours with cassis, plum,sage, mint and tobacco with mild oak. The palate shows a good combination of freshness anddensity with crushed berry notes and mild spices, long and lingering finish, pure and stylish. Rating : 92/100
A wonderfully proportionned property with 54ha of vineyards, located south of Margaux. Burly, full-bodied wine with more of a New World rather than Bordeaux character. Plenty of dark berry and plum fruit notes. Fleshy, firm tannin, oak to the fore at the moment, but the components are all there and I suspect this just needs a few more years for a higher score. Score : 92/100
Un rosé issu de la vendange 2023. Il est tout en équilibre. Assemblage merlot et cabernet sauvignon. Le type de bouteille qui fera l'unanimité autour de la table. Le chai de Malleret, avec ses cuves en béton de couleur terre-de-sienne, est l'un des plus beau de la presqu'île.
