The 2022 de Malleret, is deep garnet-purple in color. It
skips from the glass with exuberant scents of blackcurrant jelly and fresh blackberries, followed by hints of lavender, cedar chest, and pencil lead. The medium-bodied palate has great balance and expression, with ripe grainy tannins and plenty of energetic fruit, finishing savory. This is nice !
