Gorgeous aromatically, with subtle wild herbs, violet and peony alongside the black cherry and dark briary fruit. More black cherry on the palate, which is nicely shaped and built around a well-defined, dense, fruit-filled core. Impressive. Quite gracious. Tastes like it comes from Margaux, and it's not that far from Arsac and Macau. Seek this out, it's great! Definitely a pick amongst the cru bourgeoisie!
